None! I was lucky to find the right job for me right after law school.

I represent low-income Iowans in civil legal matters. I focus on tax, family law, and public benefits.

Your favorite part of your job:

Helping people navigate the court system with or without an attorney.

Your interests outside of work:

Sewing, tabletop games, video games, and my dog.

What do you wish your 1L/2L/3L self knew about the job search:

Have goals, but be willing to deviate from them. Do not focus on applying for only one kind if job, but at the same time do not apply for jobs you know you will hate. You will not do well in the interview and it will be a waste of everyone's time.

What advice do you have for success in summer positions:

Get to know the people you are working for. Relationships and personality cohesion are vital to a happy, productive workplace.
