Lunar New Year Celebration

Happy new semester from ILSA! Did you know the beginning of the semester coincides with Lunar New Year, which is celebrated in several countries? Lunar New Year is an important family reunion occasion and food is a crucial part of the Lunar New Year Celebration. Members of the family sit around a big table to have a New Year’s Eve dinner. In China, this is known as Nian Ye Fan.

Come join us to celebrate the Lunar New Year and enjoy authentic Chinese food! Please RSVP to Xiaotong-kong@uiowa.edu. The lunch will take place in the 4th Floor Lounge.
