Professor Gregory Shill was recently quoted in a New York Times article on traffic safety.

Professor Shill’s work on how laws in the United States subsidize driving, often to the detriment of pedestrians and bicyclists, has received significant attention. His article “Americans Shouldn’t Have to Drive, but the Law Insists on It” appeared in The Atlantic in July. His paper “Should Law Subsidize Driving?” has already received over 1,600 Twitter interactions. The paper will be published in the New York University Law Review later this year.
