Biography

Kate Mueting is a Partner in the Washington, DC office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP and a Co-Chair of the firm’s Discrimination and Harassment Practice Group. Professor Mueting has led hard-fought litigation challenging systemic gender and pregnancy discrimination in law and accounting firms.  However, the majority of her work is not with public litigation, but with private, confidential negotiations. Mueting represents professionals at the highest levels in their fields, including Big Law partners and corporate executives.  She has advised C-Suite executives in the pharmaceutical, technology, consulting, media, and communications industries against their Fortune 500 employers.
