Nonprofit Law in Iowa

This session will provide a substantive review of recent developments in nonprofit law with a particular emphasis on sustaining corporate existence and federal tax-exempt status; significant decisions in state and federal case law; and notable legislative enactments and executive orders. Panelists will analyze the practical and strategic implications of these developments for nonprofit boards of directors and executives, including governance duties, compliance, and risk management considerations. An interactive Q&A will conclude the program.

This program is free to the public and sponsored by the Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center at the University of Iowa College of Law.
