Daria Fisher Page, clinical professor and director of the Community Empowerment Law Project, recently appeared on Iowa Public Radio’s River to River segment to discuss the 2026 Obermann Symposium that she co-organized with fellow Iowa Law faculty member Brian Farrell and former colleague Ryan Sakoda. 

Fisher Page spoke with River to River host Ben Kieffer and three other University of Iowa faculty about the symposium’s origin and purpose and hopes for future cross-campus collaboration in rurality studies.
