Shannon Roesler, the Charlotte and Frederick Hubbell Professor of Environmental and Natural Resources Law and faculty director of the Hubbell Environmental Law Initiative, accepted an offer of publication from the Florida State University Law Review.
Her article, titled “‘In All Fairness and Justice’: What Government Owes Private Property,” examines whether federal takings doctrine should impose constitutional liability on governments for property damage arising from infrastructure design and climate adaptation decisions.
Roesler researches issues of environmental justice, environmental governance, climate change litigation, energy law and policy, and land use. The Florida State University Law Review will publish her article this fall.
