Tom Ksobiech

Assistant Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid
Biography

Tom Ksobiech joined the administration of Iowa Law in September 2025 as the Assistant Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid. In this role, he oversees the recruitment strategies and policies for all degree programs at the University of Iowa College of Law. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member, teaching Products Liability.

Before joining the UI College of Law, Ksobiech spent 19 years in higher education at the University of Alabama School of Law (Associate Dean for Administration & Communication, Assistant Dean for Career Services, and Assistant Director of Admissions), Mount Mercy University (Assistant Provost for Institutional Effectiveness), and Cornell College (Senior Director of Institutional Effectiveness).

He earned his JD with distinction from Iowa Law and his BA magna cum laude from Loras College.
