On September 9, 2025, the National Association of Small Business, presented Major Clark ('71 JD) with the  Lifetime Advocate Achievement Award by the Association's President, Todd McCracken. This recognized his forty years of service to the small business community. The forty years of service includes positions with the United States House of Representatives, Small Business Committee as its Chief Administrative Officer, Corporate Senior Vice President for a IT company, and Procurement Counsel and Acting Chief Counsel for the Office of Advocacy at the Small Business Administration.
