The University of Iowa Law Library has received funding from the State Library of Iowa to continue its collaboration on The People’s Law Library of Iowa project.

The People's Law Library of Iowa was created to provide basic legal information to members of the public, including links to laws and content from other state agencies and nonprofits.

“The website was launched in the fall of 2022 with three topic areas—consumer law, family law, and housing law—and we have added a number of content areas since,” said Amy Koopmann, assistant director for scholarly communications and innovation. “While we aren't adding any content areas this year, we are working to update existing content and improve the website's accessibility.”
