Overview

Professor Crouse joined the faculty in 2020, and he specializes in legal analysis, legal ethics, and business law. He teaches a variety of courses, including Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research I and II; Professional Responsibility; Contract Drafting Bootcamp; Negotiation Theory; and Business Associations.

Professor Crouse graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004 and went on to have an extensive career in practice and in legal academia before joining Iowa Law. 

In practice, Professor Crouse was an associate at Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP in Washington, DC, and then associate general counsel to Artivion, Inc. (f/k/a CryoLife, Inc.) in Atlanta, GA. In legal academia, Professor Crouse taught at Hamline University School of Law and then Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN.
