Biography
Professor Dawn Barker Anderson joined the College of Law in 2006 when she started teaching Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research and served as Associate Director of the Writing Resource Center. She is now directing the Writing Resource Center and the College’s academic success program and is a professor of Legal Analysis, Writing and Research.
Professor Anderson graduated with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1995 and received her Education Specialist degree in Higher Education in 2018 from the University of Iowa. Prior to teaching, she practiced law at Meardon, Sueppel & Downer P.L.C. in Iowa City and worked as the first in-house lawyer for ACT, Inc.
