Ericka Petersen is a graduate of the University of Iowa and UC Berkeley School of Law. She started her career as a staff attorney with Iowa Legal Aid in Cedar Rapids, taught as a clinical fellow at Georgetown Law for 2 years, returned to Iowa Legal Aid as the Assistant Litigation Director during the pandemic, and then stepped back to part-time work after the birth of her third child so she could spend more time with her amazing kids.
