I. Learning Outcomes of the University of Iowa College of Law

Upon graduating from the University of Iowa College of Law, a student shall be able to:
Outcome 1: Understand and apply key concepts of substantive and procedural law.
Outcome 2: Identify legally relevant sources, use them to analyze legal issues, and engage in problem-solving. Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Outcome 3: Conduct oneself according to the professional and ethical responsibilities lawyers owe to clients and the legal system.
Outcome 4: Develop other professional skills needed for competent and ethical participation as a member of the legal profession.
