Over the past year, the students at Iowa Law have faced many challenges that have helped prepare them for their future legal careers. The Iowa Law community has worked hard to continue making advances in the legal profession, even in the midst of a global pandemic. Read more about what we accomplished this year here.

Every May, the University of Iowa recognizes individuals that exemplify the importance and value of learning, leadership, and loyalty through the Hancher-Finkbine Awards. This year, we are proud to share that four members of the Iowa Law community were recognized. Adam Lorenzana (third-year law student) and Cynthia Nance (Class of 1989 and Iowa Law faculty alum) both received a Hancher-Finkbine Medallion. Mackensie Graham (third-year law student) was recognized as a Distinguished Student Leader. Kimberly Cullen (third-year law student) was a recipient of the Philip G. Hubbard Human Rights Award. Learn more about these awards and their recipients here.

We are very proud of what our students and faculty have accomplished and look forward to hearing about what the Class of 2021 will accomplish in the future.
