Professors June Tai and Dawn Barker Anderson will publish their article, “Which Comes First? Integrating The Skill Of Storytelling Into The Process Of Reflection,” in the peer-edited New York University Clinical Law Review this fall.

The article explores how legal educators can use reflection essays and exercises in law school as a vehicle for developing storytelling skills to form a professional identity. It also discusses how educators can teach both storytelling and reflection simultaneously.

Tai is a clinical professor and director of the Field Placement Program and the Nonprofit Structure and Strategy Clinic. Anderson is a professor of legal analysis, writing, and research and director of the Iowa Law Writing Center. Tai and Anderson are both Ferguson Carlson Fellows.
