Erika Christiansen (she/her) joined the University of Iowa Center for Human Rights in August 2021 as the Program Manager. Previously she worked with the UI Division of Student Life, UI Office of Outreach and Engagement, Columbia College, and the University of Missouri where she expanded her understanding of college student’s engagement with community partners.

In addition to her work with the Center's programming, Erika teaches undergraduate courses in both Human Rights & Leadership Studies, focusing on experiential education and leadership through teamwork.
