Iowa law fosters a strong community—one where students stay engaged after graduation, often recruiting and mentoring current students for years to come. Abhay Nadipuram ('13) shares his experience at Iowa Law and beyond.
Iowa Law is a great law school, but its greatness is not built just on its academic standing. What makes Iowa Law a great law school is that it fosters life-long relationships. As I approach my first decade of practicing law, I’m especially grateful that some of my closest friends are from law school, including some of the faculty and staff. It’s those relationships that make it fun to stay engaged with Iowa Law, whether that’s by visiting Boyd Law Building for a football cookout, serving on the Iowa Law School Foundation board of directors, recruiting students to Iowa Law, or mentoring existing students. I hope that all Iowa Law alums can have the same experience I had.
