The editorial boards for Iowa Law’s four student-edited journals for the 2025-2026 year have been announced. Board members are commended for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to advancing legal scholarship.

Iowa Law Review 

Founded in 1915 as the Iowa Law Bulletin, the Iowa Law Review has built a strong reputation as a scholarly legal journal dedicated to analyzing legal developments and exploring future directions in the law. Since 1935, it has been edited and managed by students and is published at least five times a year. Widely recognized as one of the country’s leading high-impact legal publications, the Iowa Law Review is read by legal professionals and law libraries around the world.

Journal of Gender, Race & Justice

The Journal of Gender, Race & Justice has committed itself to the challenge of exploring how the law may classify, stratify, ignore, or single out one due to their race, sex, gender, economic class, ability, or sexual identity. The journal strives to examine how individuals negotiate their identities, how the legal system shapes those identities, and how these dynamics influence their ability to achieve justice. This journal advocates for justice that allows people to live authentically and free from fear or penalty.
