Lee Seedorff
Lee Seedorff joined the College of Law as its Registrar in July 2019. Before joining the College of Law, she spent 20 years working in international education, nearly 8 of those years directing the unit at UI's International Student and Scholar Services. At ISSS, she set campus policies and procedures for those at the University of Iowa on international student or scholar visas, in accordance with federal regulations. Lee co-authored an article on Optional Practical Training in the New Directions for Student Services journal. She also has extensive experience providing intercultural awareness and skill building training to students, staff, and faculty.
Her educational background includes a bachelor’s with a double major in anthropology and religion, with a minor in Sanskrit language and literature, and a master’s in social work, all from the University of Iowa. She studied abroad in India for an academic year as an undergrad, and also spent a couple weeks on a program reviewing health/mental health care systems in St. Lucia.
