Martha Kirby joined the admissions team at Iowa Law in 2023. She previously served as the the senior academic advisor for the Department of Political Science at the University of Iowa. She worked in undergraduate education for more than 25 years before coming to the law school.

Martha served as the president of the Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors from October 2022 - September 2023 and is currently completing her service as chair on the Pre-Law Advisors National Council.
