Know how important visits are in the decision making process, Winnie Uluocha created a fund to help support underrepresented students visit our campus. In addition to her giving, Uluocha has made significant contributions toward furthering the university’s human rights policy through her work at the Colleges of Law and Public Health, service on diversity committees at both colleges, and a leadership role in the Black Law Students Association.

“I wanted to make the point the Middle West is the never-ending frontier, that it’s a vibrant place and you can become anything you want here,” says Boyd, whose given name is Willard Boyd, Jr. He says the book also is intended to record his many experiences with the American phenomenon of nonprofit organizations.
