Reunion 2022

Every fall, Iowa Law welcomes back alumni to reconnect and celebrate.  There are opportunities to visit classrooms, talk to our faculty, and tour our facilities and always a chance to tailgate and take in some Hawkeye football.  Whether you are five years out or 65 years, we hope you'll make plans to pay us a visit soon.

2022 Alumni Award Winners

Alumni Achievement and Service Awards

In 2009, Iowa Law launched an alumni awards program to recognize law alumni who have made significant achievements in their careers and in their service to the College of Law. Awards are presented annually in four different categories: Emerging Leader, Alumni Achievement, Alumni Service and the Iowa Law Review Alumni Achievement award.

Back to Iowa

Back to Iowa (BTI) began as a unique and special effort between African American alumni, BLSA and the University of Iowa College of Law to provide highly granular, real-life and real-time information to Iowa law students about the practice of law and the legal job market. BTI has been lauded for its high-level of candor and commitment to diversity.

Pregame Cookouts

Every fall, we host pregame cookouts at the Boyd Law Building, thanks to our generous sponsors.  Join us two hours prior to kick-off to meet up with other alumni, faculty, and staff. We'll have the usual fare (including cheesy potatoes for those early games). If you are interested in learning more about sponsoring a cookout, contact
