Professor Schwartz joined the law faculty in 1977. Prior to that time, she taught in the clinic at Wayne State University.
Practice & Teaching:
She teaches in the College of Law's Clinical Law Program where she currently focuses on immigration law. In addition, she has taught non-clinical courses at the law school in the areas of Criminal Law and Procedure, Professional Responsibility, Immigration and Asylum Law, and Trial Advocacy.
Memberships:
Schwartz is a founding member of the Clinical Legal Education Association, and a former member of the executive committee of the AALS Clinical Education Section.
