The 48th Annual Parents & Partners Day program will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This event is a high point in the Law School’s fall activities, and we hope to see you there.The day is planned as a relaxed day of orientation and education for parents, spouses, partners, children, and other relatives and special friends of current law students. The program introduces your guests to the philosophy of law training at Iowa, exposes them to the classroom pedagogy of legal education, and acquaints them with your collegiate routine. Don’t worry, there is no writing required(!), but we do hope that you will add your own input so that they can understand your experience here.

10:10-11 a.m. Mock Class - Emily Hughes, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Edward F. Howrey Professor, Levitt Auditorium, 295 BLB
11-11:10 a.m. Break
11:10-12 p.m. Student Panel: Coping with the Law Student in Your Life, Levitt Auditorium, 295 BLB
12-1 p.m. Buffet Lunch, Law Courtyard (weather permitting) or in the lobby
