Across the Aisle is hosting an all-school discussion on Free Speech in Law School. Brought to you by the Collegiate Community Committee, our goal is to bridge division by bringing people with different perspectives on important social and political issues into conversation with each other. This event will focus on off-campus speech affecting job prospects in the legal field, academic freedom for law professors, and state and federal regulation of DEI-related activities.

After Professor Hope Metcalf's introductory remarks, participants will form small groups over lunch to discuss their views on the candidates. They are not expected to reach a consensus; instead, the event fosters civil dialogue. Across the Aisle is open to all College of Law students, staff, and faculty and their views.
