2022 Grads Outperform in Competitive Job Market

In 2022, more than 98% (158 students) of the graduating class secured full-time jobs within 10 months of graduation. This achievement builds upon the college's outstanding job placement rates from previous years. In 2021, 99% (136 students) of the graduating class secured jobs, and in 2020, all 133 graduates found employment.

To understand Iowa students’ success in Delaware, it helps to grasp why the nation’s second-smallest state is its corporate law epicenter. The draw is the Delaware Court of Chancery, a unique institution where the judges—one chancellor and six vice chancellors (“chancellor” being the traditional term for a judge presiding in a court of equity)—are all experts in corporate law, as well as related areas like corporate finance, accounting, and economic analysis of law.
