The Pro Bono Society recognized 36 law students as its Spring 2022 Members. Current students and recent graduates were named to the honors society list for dedicating their time toward serving others and developing skills and values that are important to a life of public service.

Hosted by the Equal Justice Foundation (EJF), the event raises money for summer stipends for students pursuing public interest internships—from public defender's offices to non-profit organizations and everywhere in between—which often offer little to no compensation.

The University of Iowa College of Law’s Center for Human Rights, Drake University Law School Legal Clinic, and Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice (Iowa MMJ), with funding support from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, are partnering to create ALL Iowa, a new collaboration to provide immigration legal assistance to Afghan nationals in Iowa who came to the United States as part of Operation Allies Welcome.
Law in Practice: Students pursue externships to hone appellate advocacy and legal writing skills
