Justin is a district court judge in Iowa's sixth district. Prior to his appointment to the bench in 2021, Justin was an Assistant United States Attorney and served as Chief of the Criminal Division. He is a 2006 graduate of Iowa Law.
Judge Lightfoot teaches the course Federal Criminal Practice Sentencing Advocacy.
