Richard Gertson (78JD) (79MURP) recently retired after nearly fifty years of service in public management and urban planning. In 2022, he was inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners for career achievements in comprehensive planning, revitalization, and growth management. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Arlington where he teaches planning law.
